This entertainment company wanted to ensure that it was adopting best practices for its business operations. In particular, executives focused on defining the business processes and systems requirements for all of the manager’s back-office functions performed in their stores (more than 1,400 nationwide).
BRP managed a cross-functional team of subject matter experts from store operations, HR, finance, merchandising, loss prevention, and IT, discovering the underlying business processes and making detailed recommendations for process improvements. They then worked with the software vendor to turn the functional descriptions into systems specifications.
The retailer was able to implement the revised processes that BRP developed, introducing best practices into all of the chain’s back-office functions. The changes supported operational improvements throughout the chain.
