This fashionable leather goods retailer wanted the tightest security possible for its customers’ payment data. They understood that simply being PCI compliant was much too risky in light of recent high-profile breaches. They also needed a strategy that would cover all of their unified commerce touch points.
BRP analyzed all payment-related systems, databases, and business processes of the retailer and its vendors. They led design workshops to ensure that the strategy would meet the needs of in-store, online, and phone order sales channels. The solution combined end-to-end encryption (E2EE) and tokenization.
The payment security solutions completely eliminated any risk from storing customers’ credit card information by maintaining all data outside of the retailer’s environment. These improvements allowed the retailer to concentrate on selling through its various channels instead of worrying about the significant financial and brand risks in their prior environment.
