Expanding on New Oracle POS
As this off price department store retailer continued to redefine its brand, it was also making vital customer service improvements supported by enhanced systems. Moving from its homegrown POS system to Oracle POS was opening up additional systems options it wanted to explore.
This retailer engaged BRP to guide its rollout of Oracle POS and identify additional sources for hardware and software to augment the new system. In addition, BRP developed a strategy for adding mobile options to POS, giving them a complete roadmap for development and deployment.
BRP developed a long-term roadmap for the retailer which would build a much-improved customer experience around the new POS capabilities. The new plans would enable the retailer to add functionality such as customer loyalty, mobile line-busting, wireless popup registers for holiday peak, and gift registry.
