Major Systems Integration
Once this menswear chain made an acquisition, they had to figure out how to integrate two businesses with a total of 40 systems. Despite time pressure to avoid peak season, they expected to consolidate platforms and realize cost savings from both IT and business efficiencies.
BRP reviewed both companies’ merchandising, ecommerce, marketing, OMS, POS, and other systems and devised a two-phase integration strategy based on key business needs and priorities. BRP actively managed the systems strategy and conversion projects, providing technical guidance through implementation and go-live.
BRP successfully implemented the integration of all systems using its unique, two-phase approach. This included a major data conversion of two years of item history. With new interfaces between UniVerse, Manhattan, Micros, and Commercial Ware OMS, the retailer realized the synergies it had envisioned via the acquisition.
