Retail Strategy & Vendor Selection
After its strong recovery from the Great Recession, this women’s clothing retailer sought to leverage its online and catalog success into re-opening stores. They needed a strategy for selecting systems and they wanted to fully understand labor and real estate costs before entering new markets.
BRP worked with the retailer’s executive team and private equity investor, developing a Retail Re-Entry Strategy and Financial Model that included a detailed store labor operating plan and real estate costs by market. BRP also managed the selection process for ERP and OMS systems, with additional planning for POS.
The retailer’s private equity investor approved BRP’s plans for launching new retail stores, positioning the retailer as a potential power player in the unified commerce world. The new ERP, OMS, and POS solutions would support a five-year growth plan with up to 130 new stores.
