Selection and Optimization
This major truck stop chain offering food and fuel planned to replace a large number of systems, including ERP, merchandising, replenishment (stores and distribution center), category management, and store systems. They also wanted to review and optimize every aspect of the processes within their store operations.
BRP developed a comprehensive list of functional requirements for every system in order to create an RFP and manage the selection process. They also established detailed requirements for optimizing key store processes, including cashiering, inventory management, receiving, time and attendance, and customer service.
BRP’s work with the retailer to help develop the capability of managing their stores much more efficiently and effectively, giving them the ability to rationalize and allocate category space and optimize adjacencies as well. BRP also identified several ways to streamline processes without adding technology costs.
