Unified Commerce Projects
A regional hardware store chain wanted to move to a unified commerce model, which would allow it to integrate the shopping experience while improving delivery speed and efficiency across all channels. Additional goals included improving in-stock position, adding endless-aisle availability, increasing customer loyalty, and enhancing ecommerce functionality.
BRP established a comprehensive plan for identifying solutions for the chain while creating a detailed migration roadmap covering systems architecture and integration. They managed the entire vendor evaluation process and analyzed the chain’s supply chain, discovering opportunities for improvement. BRP helped them choose a multi-vendor approach, selecting ecommerce and order management systems.
With BRP’s assistance in providing overall project oversight, along with best practice recommendations and testing protocols , the chain moved forward to implement the new unified commerce environment. BRP crafted documentation and user experience mapping to introduce the new features throughout the chain.
