Unified Commerce Strategy and Selection
This courier delivery service was trying to run its global business, including retail outlets, on multiple POS systems. This created disjointed customer and employee experiences, and the online business wasn’t integrated in any way to its store systems, offered different functionality, and ran different business rules.
BRP considered their goal of achieving a unified commerce ecosystem, and it established requirements for a universal POS system and an Order Management System (OMS). BRP developed RFPs and managed all aspects of vendor evaluations, presenting the client with detailed recommendations for selecting the ideal solutions.
Once BRP had worked though the entire process of selecting appropriate POS and OMS solutions, the client was perfectly positioned to move forward with the unified commerce strategy BRP had outlined for it. BRP continued to coach them as they pursued the alignment of business and technical requirements on the new platform.
